Reverend Dr. Jacqueline Jones

Rev. Dr. Jacqueline P. Jones is an ordained Pastor and serves as co-pastor of the Ship of Zion Church, Raleigh, North Carolina founded by her and her husband(Christopher Jones) in April 2001.

She is the wife of Pastor Christopher Jones (24yrs) and the mother of three: Kristian, Quentin and Christena. Pastor Jones is affectionately referred to as “Pastor Jackie” by some and Momma Jack in the community by others.

● Pastor Jacqueline has been in ministry since 1997
● She received her Associates Degree in Religion from New Life School of Ministry and Bible Institute (NLSMBI) in 1998.
● She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and a Master’s
Degree in Human Services Counseling: Marriage & Family both from Liberty University
● She received her Doctoral Degree in Theology December 2020 from Newburgh Theological Seminary
● She has led in ministry as a Trustee, Teacher, Ordained Evangelist, Women’s Ministry Leader, and Praise and Worship Leader.
● She was elected 1st woman to serve on the Executive Presbyter for the North Carolina District of the Assemblies of God
● She also served on the North Carolina AG District Credentialing Committee
● She served on the National General Council for the Assemblies of God as a General Presbyter
● Dr.Jones is the President for Wake Co.Chapter of North Carolina Woman in Ministry
● She also teaches the certificate program for Women in Leadership with Eastern Carolina Christian College & Seminary

Dr. Jones is the co-founder of Ship Community Outreach a developmental non-profit organization that meets the needs of the community through a low-cost healthy food non-profit grocery store called the Galley, a job readiness and life skills training program called TEI, A community wellness center called the Ship Yard and many food outreaches throughout the city of Raleigh, NC.
She has traveled preaching and teaching the Gospel in South Africa with RAG, USA (Reaching a Generation), throughout the countries of Uganda, Zimbabwe, Haiti, and Israel on a Study Tour
