North Carolina Association For Women In Ministry, INC.

WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE !!!

For thirty-eight years  North Carolina Association For Women In Ministry, INC. , has endeavored to serve the Kingdom of God and the Body of Christ with a spirit of excellence!

We are grateful for the scores of men and women whose prayers, encouragement, and understanding have given us the necessary strength to do all that we have been able to do.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER, PRESIDENT, & CEO

Reverend Dr. Mary M. Heggie

” I am profoundly grateful to the NCAWM membership for their trust in me to serve as the President, Founder and CEO and extend the legacy that has improved our organization. For thirty-nine years we have given God the glory, the honor and the praise amidst the opposition of women in ministry and in a movement that has challenged the definition of what it means to be liberated to preach, teach and evangelize the Gospel in the African American Church and the world.

For thirty-nine years we have stood together as sisters in Christ to lift up the name of Jesus so that He might be glorified in all the earth. “

In His Service,
Reverend Dr. Mary M. Heggie

Our greatest opportunities are presented through our established dedication to meet the ecumenical challenges of gathering under the manifested truth of St. Luke 4: 18 – 19.

The experiences that we are blessed to have are worthy of the thirty-eight years that we celebrate under One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.

In this Millennium, we stand at the foot of history and at the pinnacle of a promise given to the prophet Joel 2:28 – 29.

This knowledge encourages us to focus on the vision, the mission and the objective of NCAWM INC.

We encourage you to read about our history and learn who we are. The women of our ministry have been privileged to witness God’s faithfulness according to God’s purpose and His plan.

“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.”

– Joel 2:28 – 29

We thank God for the promise. We thank God for the provision. We thank God for the women who continue to love and support this great work. Our prayer is that each progressing year will be the time that God meets us in ways that are exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

– Luke 4: 18 – 19

Thank you for your time, we are looking forward to connecting with you soon.
